My crazy life.
My mother in law keeps saying that all her kids need to 'write a book' on the antics that her grand kids come up with.
So I figured why the heck not. I'll try this blog thing......again.......
Rest assured, it'll wear off and this will be a blog graveyard like all my others in due time.
Now, because I'm lazy at the moment. and don't feel like going through the motions of 'inviting' people....blah blah.....I'm just going to refer to the kids as trouble 1-4. Those who know me know who is who.
Now, as most people know, Trouble 1 and Trouble 3 had birthdays this past week. T1 turned 8 and T3 turned 4. Because their birthdays are a mere three days apart, it means a huge cake. Maybe, TOO big. (But hey we planned a larger get together in the beginning which changed last minute)
My point being the cake when not being eaten was in the oven.
After a few days the cake began to absorb the oh so lovely (right)...odors/flavors of the oven.
Now, fast forward to Thursday. I decided to make tater tots so the cake had to come out of the oven. Plus it was time for it to just GO. Unfortunately, it was trash day, and everything was so full as it was I didn't feel like tossing another thing out this week. And, I can't use my garbage disposal.
A little later in the day I was busy working on some painting in the bathroom. I come out to check on the kids to find trouble #3 DRINKING maple syrup. No, not only was he drinking it, he spilled it on the floor too. So off I go to get the carpet shampooer and clean that up pronto.
Get it cleaned up and take the canister to the bathroom to empty it, return to the living room to find that he'd moved on to the cake that was on the stove. Pulled it down to the ground and was fist fulling it.
Yuck, and just another day in the life...
